Description: Qualifications and Possible Job Duties Include: Required: Administrative License Preferred: Experience as a school leader as well as a teacher of students with special needs. Salary: Salary commensurate with experience and training. Lead the implementation of evidence based practices for students with autism (e.g., ABA informed strategies, structured teaching, social communications supports); Monitor and support high quality instruction aligned with Teach Town Curriculum, IEP goals, state standards, and individualized student needs. Insure compliance with IDEA, state regulations, and Summit ESC policies; Establish and maintain a positive, structured and predictable school environment. Recruit, hire, supervise, and evaluate certified and classified staff; Provide professional development focused on autism, communication strategies, behavior interventions, and instructional best practices. Oversee daily school operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
