Meet Hillary Rios, the newly elected OAPSA Secretary

I currently serve as the Associate Director of Special Education at Lorain City Schools and will begin my role as Director of Special Education with Northwestern Local Schools on August 1. I am committed to building systems that support students, families, and educators. I bring a strong background in pupil services, having previously served as a Special Education Supervisor and an Intervention Specialist. In each role, I have remained deeply student-centered, focusing on equitable access, strong instructional practices, and meaningful collaboration to ensure all students are supported and successful.

I am honored to serve as Secretary for the Ohio Association of Pupil Services Administrators and value the opportunity to connect with colleagues across the state to strengthen systems of support for students.
